Producing Cannabis Paste instead of Cannabis oil is 1667% more efficient to make. When you make the "Paste" you get 32 months of supply from a pound of cannabis or 32 jars. But when making the RSO oil you only get 3 months supply or 2 oz of oil. There is NO reason to concentrate the medicine when our bodies can absorb the paste just the same.
When you concentrate cannabis to create an oil you throw the left over plant matter in the trash.
RSO is also flammable and dangerous to make.
Note: Making the paste, one can use many methods such as controlled temperatures and using Coconut,Olive Oil or Vegetable Glycerin. So my question to you is who in the world would ever make Cannabis oil? Maybe someone who wants to waste 1667% of their cannabis? Hummmm I don't get it.

Cannabis has the potential to be very effective as part of the integrated therapy for cancer, epilepsy, MS and many other chronic and terminal illnesses. If you are making your cannabis oil it is important to use very dry, high quality cannabis flowers that are pesticide, mold, and bacteria-free.
im not the OP but i can tell you how i make my cannabis paste. i used it mostly when i was diagnosed aug 2015 with breast cancer. i took it for the 3 weeks in between diagnosis/biopsy and surgery. it shurnk the tumor from 11mm to 8mm in that time frame, yeah it was a little tumor, BUT come surgery time they cut out a section MUCH smaller than originally intended. instead of cutting out the size of a fist, they cut out the size of a walnut. that is a big difference as far as im concerned so i put this down as a WIN, and i continue to take it at a lower dose since i declined chemo, radiation and hormone therapy.
here is how i make it and it is simple to make and use.
you need 8oz good dry bud
16 half pint canning jars with lids and rings
coconut oil or veg glycerine
large water pot for processing
1)clean and sterilize canning jars, lids and rings
2) grind pot to powder
3) put one half ounce of powder in each jar
4) put in 3 Tablespoons of coconut oil or glycerine and stir
5) put lids on jars and close snug, not super tight
6) put jars in large pot of hot water--this is like a water bath
water should be staying around 165 degrees--dont go over 185, ok?
put a lid on pot to keep the jars under water line as best you can, add a dinner plate to hole jars down if you want.
7) put a lid on the hot water pot and let simmer at temp range of 165-185 degrees for 12 HOURS. you will need to check your water level every so often to top off.
OR you can put in over at 175 degrees for 24 hourts
do your best to keep temp in that range but dont panic if you check and it is a bit higher or lower, just add a bit of cooler water and lower temp if too hot or turn temp up a tiny bit if too cool. just do the very best you can.
when the time is over, take them out of water bath gently and put on towel on counter to cool. as they cool they will seal. and you can store in a cupboard
you end up with 16 half pint jars with about one months usage amount in each jar.
the starting dose is take an amount the size of a pea once a day, then 2 a day and then 3 a day, find your comfort level. the idea is to get up to about 1-3gm a day. i use '00' capsules and 3 capsules come to 3gm. you can skip capsules and put it on a cracker or roll it into a tiny ball and swallow if you want. like most herbal stuff, it tastes like dirt, lol.
in all the sites that had the info on pate it looked like
one gm = 2teaspoons is considered a high dose.
i do not know how that was arrived at.. i did get to read an actual analysis posted, wish i saved it, it was very good as to strength of end product compared to RSO. it was equal if not better.
to be honest, for those 3 weeks waiting for surgery i worked my way up to 8 gm a day. it took me 2 whole weeks of slowly increasing dose to get up to that amount and still function. working up to that amount mde me sleepy, woozy at times til my body adjusted but then i was ok. i went a far as i could with it in the short time i had and it certainly proved itself. i cant tell YOU to work up to 8gm, i did it to see how much i could ingest and still function and get as much as cancer killers into me.
it is interesting to note this---at this dose of 8gm a day all my fibromyalgia pain disappeared, not a twinge or nothing, it was like it was all gone. great releif. however, after my surgery i wanted to continue the paste because the treatment is supposed to be 90 days and i only did it for 3 weeks--BUT i found i could not tolerate the high dose of 8gm a day after the tumor was removed. i struggled to take 6gm, i stay around 4-6gm a day. only thing i can think of is after the tumor was gone my body did not need as much because the 8gm after surgery wiped me out and put me to sleep big time. i can function just fine on 4-6gms a day if i take after a meal---which i highly suggest or you will get tired and sleepy during the day.
if you have to skip a dose just make it up at bed time, it helps with a good deep sleep. i usually take 2-3 at bedtime
remember to start off with a small pea size and see how your body responds
3 small pea size is about one gm roughly.
ive used both veg glycerine and coconut oil and prefer the texture of the product with the coconut oil.
when you open a jar it will look like only half filled and dry-ish,
just stir it up, as it gets warmer it melts /softens.
i have tried making the oil, tinctures, concentrates, teas, etc and it is all fun to experiment with. this plant can do alot of good for people.. this paste is a concentrate, you get ALL the CBDs and dont throw anything away i like that.
i hope this helps someone. if you have any questions please feel free to ask, i will do my best to help out.
The above post was almost a year ago, I would like to know how you are now. My husband has been taking the oil/paste and we have been looking into making our own. He had surgery and a foot of his bowel and a piece of his liver removed. He is getting a PET scan results in a couple of weeks and we don't know if he should continue with the last 3 months of chemo or just take the paste if the scan comes back with no sign of cancer. Also, do you get a strong smell when cooking it?
Sorry for the delay in answering. yes i still take the paste. i had m y surgery sept 2015 and am still cancer free. so far so good. i take a maintence dose of 4 caps at bedtime. before surgeyr i worked up to 8 to try to shrink the tumor before my surgery and it worked. if i remember correctly the suggested dose to fight cancer is at least 6 caps a day. my body slowly adjusted to the 6 caps and i was ok, the 8 caps make me groggy. but i got better at spacing them out and never took on empty stomach,.
tho i have learbned how to make other products i still prefer the paste. one important addition tho---i learned by adding in some sunflower lecithin it improves the bio-availability of the thc/cbds. your body uses it better and excrete less. so for the Cannabis Paste Recipe above i now add in 1 teaspoon of sunflower lecithin into each jar and stir that in,.
hope you are doing well. i know the oil is the main method of fighting cancer with cannabis but i like the paste. it is easier for me to make, it uses the whole plant and you dont throw anything away.
I just found out about CBD paste. I definitely am interested! The main question I have is this. CBD paste is referred as whole plant but the recipe I just read says we are to use a 1quart jar of bud. It doesn't mention the rest of the plant. I figured that if CBD paste is whole plant it would use the whole plant?

Cannabis extracts of solid consistency that differs them from oils which are, of course, liquids. The consistency of the paste comes as a consequence of the presence of various ballast substances in it that lack any biological activity. Obtaining an oil is a much more difficult task, It has taken our team nearly a year to develop Cannabis Gold technology.
could you please tell me how to make the past i am new to this and still learning and will you still get high i am trying to find a way without the high
The process of making cannabis paste in pretty simple. You need some cannabis bud, some oil (preferably coconut oil), and the last part is to heat it. One method of heating it is to add 1 ounce of cannabis bud and 2 ounces of coconut oil to a small mason jar. The cannabis and oil are mixed thoroughly and then added to the jar. The jar is added to a pot of water that is heated at 180 degrees for 10 1/2 hours.3254
The mixture is heated to decarboxylate the cannabis, and the oil is used so the body will absorb the cannabis when it is consumed. Without the oil (fat) the cannabis will make its way through the body undigested. With the cannabis paste, cannabis binds with the oil in the mixture, and the body is able to absorb the fat (oil) containing cannabis.
There is another process of heating the cannabis that I prefer. The aim is just to decarboxylate the cannabis. We can also achieve this by heating the cannabis in an oven at 220 degrees for two hours. You want to use a good sized Pyrex container so your cannabis is spread out, and cover the container with aluminum foil to keep the smell in and to let pressure out. The internal temperature of the cannabis will reach 200 degrees. After your cannabis is decarboxylated, mix the cannabis and the coconut oil and you are done. You have your cannabis paste.
A recommended dosage is to start off by taking 1 gram of the cannabis paste a day, and work your way up to a strong dose of 2.4 grams a day. A 1 ounce of cannabis and 2 ounces of coconut oil mix will give you a month’s supply of cannabis paste using 2.4 grams a day.
People use vegetable glycerin, olive oil, or coconut oil to make cannabis paste. I prefer coconut oil because of its antiviral and healing properties.
