Dual ballot initiatives promoted by the conscious cannabis culture.
We see with the competing initiatives of 2016 in California, that none really have the qualities that are needed for the peoples interests. All are shackled with the same public perceptions that have prevented legalization, hampered medical application, and that binding is spilling over onto the hemp agricultural issue that prevents a lot of positive environmental benefits from hemp. Obviously, something completely different is needed.
The cannabis culture is not innovating the needed perspective to draw the general public into cogent, active role acting in ways that are needed and effective.
The public mindset and paradigm needs to be changed about the gratifications that substances supposedly provide. Mental health care that is effective can do this, and do it well given some time.
THE BASIC PROBLEM:?The basic problem is a stigma about drugs or substances altogether. This stigma or attitude is as old as the problems associated with alcohol abuse, then heroin addiction, now methamphetamine and pharmaceutical dependencies.
THE CONUNDRUM:?It is a sociological quagmire without resolve as long as mental health is unable to cure the addictions to provide real, permanent recovery for those addicted to destructive substances
SOLUTION:?When mental health can actually cure addictions; after addicts are permanently recovered but still using cannabis medically, enabling unobjectionable, non offensive and destructive recreations; THEN it will be proven that cannabis, always associated with the "drug culture" is not destructive. Even when used recreationally cannabis users are actually medicating for stress, anxiety or perhaps to allow a mental state where inspirations of intuitive origin are more common.
To begin to consolidate the understanding of the conscious cannabis culture, into a political force, this Facebook page has been created.
Like that page, share it, comment upon it. Share your understanding there and here, anywhere you might; of how the conscious cannabis culture is going to provide the vision and common sense dynamic needed or integration of effective mental health care into initiative to legalize first medical, then recreational cannabis, sorting out the entanglements of substances upon society.
