The AZ Department of Health is moving forward with Medical Marijuana Dispensaries, and applications may be available as early as April 2012. You can view their progress at the Arizona Medical Marijuana Program Page.

That is great news!! April is right around the corner. Wow! For those setting up a dispensary have you thought about if you were going to go with an LLC, S Corp, or a C Corp. Also, have you thought about insurance for your new business.

I'm afraid the dispensaries will not be opening anytime soon. That is great news for the patients in Arizona, as Prop 203 law was obviously written by the attorneys representing the dispensary owners.
The 25 mile "no cultivating" rule (no one is allowed to cultivate if within 25 miles (as the crow flies) of a dispensary) is ridiculous, unheard of and only benefits the greedy dispensary money machine.
This creates a monopoly and is direct conflict with Arizona's Constitution and Law.
Until then, there is a strong and righteous network of experiences cultivators who are freely sharing their excess high grade medicine with their fellow patients, all 100% legal.
